    • SureFire Low-Profile Mount (LPM) greatly enhances versatility, allowing the user to mount the Dual Fuel Scout Light Pro in the optimal position on any MIL-STD-1913 or M-LOK rail

That 1500 lumen light with swivel mount is gangster.

  2. OEM stippled Handguards for the M4

I made these myself after I did two of my glocks.

They probably don't look as nice as the ones Tango arms sell but I'm sure they feel and perform the same.

This price includes the handguards so you don't have to send me yours.  Here's a link to Tango's, the cost is $256 with shipping etc. (the last pic)

These are in excellent condition and were only used briefly on the gun.  These are OEM factory Benelli handguards, not aftermarket, FFT, etc.

Asking $130 includes paypal G&S fees and shipping via USPS first class.  Half price compared with the pros.

    Happy 4th!

Under normal circumstances, I agree completely. Nobody is going to sniff around your guns doing a proctological examination looking for an infraction.

But things like that usually happen coincidental to some other event, totally by accident. These days you never know when you might run into some brainwashed, robotic prick, who may want to push an issue.

It's federal. That's why a lot of people choose to observe 922R however ridiculous it may be. Myself included. It's up to each individual to decide for themselves. I don't judge either way.

Like in California for example, if you replace a "muzzle brake" device with a normal flash hider on a particular rifle, you can be arrested and charged with possession of an "assault weapon"- a felony. Keep a "muzzle brake" on it, and all is well.

Completely insane and ridiculous but, that's what can happen if caught.

Yeah I can see the 922R issue being brought to light if you're involved in a serious case of some sort....a thorough lawyer or prosecutor probably uses a checklist that has checking this type of thing on there if they're trying to build a case against you.  And it's an inexpensive way to have peace of mind so you can confidently use your gun...And I guess it's a good thing because it ultimately stimulates the industry bringing about more innovation and products.

I always wondered as well, I spoke to another M4 owner at a gun shop as well and he basically said "who's gonna know"?

I've never heard of anyone getting their shotgun inspected to that level of detail.  They mainly just want to know if it's stolen or if you're a felon or have any previous history with the law, if you pass that stuff, they usually move on to the next pressing task.  I don't know how many specific laws like this exist but if it's a lot of them, it might be hard for them to recall all the laws when they're dealing with some serious life or death shit.  I can't picture them being like "hey wait...your barrel looks a little short, let me measure that shit."  some might since guns are a serious matter....but I don't know how they are going to make sure my Geissele trigger is made in the USA or not...no cop I know has the time or patience to deal with something like that....And what if they find that your trigger was actually made in China instead of the USA like you claimed, that's just a pile of paperwork for them to now have to deal with for zero financial incentive or recognition on a gun that's legally owned and not stolen.  I'm sure they have other stuff they'd rather be working on...

Poor mans mod IMO. I never understood in getting these hand guards; there are plenty of other 922r parts to swap out that additionally enhance performance, and why take any quality away from your gun ?

And who exactly is supposed to be making sure that we're all in compliance anyway?  I've never been in a situation where my shotgun was inspected to make sure it had a certain number of USA made parts on it.  All the cops I've talked to about shotguns didn't even care if the shotgun was shorter than 18 inches or if it had a shorter stock, they only cared about it being legally owned and being used responsibly on BLM land or whatever.  I'm not saying it's not important, just wondering if anyone has ever had to prove that the parts were made in the US to any authority?

wait....so the top two pics are the NEW ones after you sent back the initial messed up set and the last pic is the OEM handguards?  If so, why should you get stuck with the beater handguards if you're not even going to use them...unless they're free.  If anything, the manufacturer should eat the cost since it probably costs them $5 to make or less.  If they're not good enough to use, why can't you just return them for your money back?  Then the owner of FFT can decide what he wants to do with them.  Everyone knows gun people are anal as fuck so wanting to return a blemished unit shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone involved in the industry.  If you were in the military here or overseas or something using your m4 for work daily, a defect like that wouldn't even get noticed because it wouldn't be worth the hassle of even composing an email about it.  But I think most of FFT's customers are probably people who like to build and collect nice shit.  If you couldn't visually see it, it wouldn't be as bad but if it annoys you every time you look at it, that sucks.  In todays world, I think most childrens toy guns made in China are made with a higher quality than that.  I know some people are like "It's a tool who cares..."  but the reality of manufacturing quality these days is that it is super duper high.  And if you don't complain about it...those workers are going to think that type of work is acceptable which isn't doing anyone any favors.

The flash doesn't affect recoil at all. It affects night vision, although minimally due to autogating and all that jazz.

I have chronographed them at around 1100 fps or so, give or take.

Benelli M4's don't really kick so much as they just twitch a little in your hands as they go through the firing sequence. This is Winchester Ranger 1325fps 9-pellet:

They don't really kick?  What gun are you talking about..haha.  maybe it's my 5'8 150 lb body or maybe I need to take a course on shooting it properly but mine kicks like a mf.  But I've been using 1550 FPS shells to avoid jamming and also because I bought a truckload on sale so that could be it.....I'm jealous.  If someone breaks into my house in the middle of the night, I'll probably try to verbally negotiate a reasonable outcome before I'm forced to pull the trigger and deal with the recoil.

I have become a huge fan of Federal's reduced recoil ammo. Mainly due to flash out of my SBS. You can see 3 full-power and 3 reduced recoil flite control 9 pellet rounds used in this video, and EASILY tell them apart.

nevermind...just noticed the description in the video....good stuff.  How many total rounds do you think you might have through your gun?  It must be really well broken in to cycle so well with those shells.

That looks and sounds like you're shooting a .22LR rifle...How did you get it to shoot so smoothly? How does the flash affect the recoil?  And is the recoil low because of the low recoil shells?  What FPS are those Federal reduced recoil shells?  That actually looks enjoyable.  Shooting my M4 is like going to the dentist and getting my fillings recoiled out of my teeth.

  10. First of all.  Benelliparts is not a scammer and it is a 100% legit business.  Have you ever heard of a scammer calling up the victim to cuss them out?  I haven't.

Whether or not the owner of Benelliparts is the most organized individual on the planet, is a different issue.  Just because a small business owner accidentally makes a mistake, doesn't make them a scammer and it doesn't mean you shouldn't buy from them because if you want something he is selling, who the fuck cares how friendly that person is or how good their customer services skills are?  As long as you're using a payment option that protects you, like a credit card that will reimburse you, what's the risk?  In my opinion, there is no risk regardless of how much of a dick the guy is.  If they don't send me the product, I make one phone call and the problem is solved.  That's why God invented PayPal and Credit Cards with awesome policies.

Benelliparts is a super niche business who has a very long track record to lean on.  One interaction or botched transaction can happen to anyone, he'a a human being so he's going to make mistakes just like everyone else.

In the case of a business like Benelliparts, it doesn't justify what happened, but it's not hard to see how something like this could happen when dealing with something like a preorder that is months out.  I can't remember what I bought last week and I have hundreds of alarms that I snooze every day so an order from 4 months ago being mishandled isn't a complete shocker to me.  If I wasn't a super organized person, it probably isn't the best to take pre-orders to begin with, if you know yourself and the risks involved, but sometimes you have to make a decision.

It's not always the case but if he's taking preorders, it probably means he's tight on cash otherwise he would just buy the parts with his own money and then sell them when they come in.  If taking preorders to avoid cancellations, that's pretty much the same thing because most people don't cancel orders and you should be able to sustain a few cancellations, which is basically being short on cash.  If your options are to either not sell a product or sell it with preorders, if the demand is high, you probably take preorders.  My guess is that the guy bit off a little more than he could chew and probably spent the money on living expenses and didn't have the product to send you so he needed a little time to get his paycheck from work or something.  Should something like that like ever happen?  Of course not but people make mistakes and most people live paycheck to paycheck with little buffer for mistakes or unexpected expenses.  The guy could probably have avoided an angry customer by making one phone call to you explaining the delay or whatever and just being straight with you but maybe he got overwhelmed with life.  A business should never not pick up the phone for any reason but I view Benelliparts as more of a guy who is doing the community a favor using his connections, more than a typical Business.  The guy sells things that are hard to get and we get to use payment options like Credit Cards that will reimburse us if we don't get the product, so again, no super big issue in my eyes.

I personally have spent thousands of dollars on Benelliparts over the past 5+ years or whatever the timeline is.  I've literally purchased at least one of everything sold on that site including multiple short barrels that were almost a grand each.  I don't know him on a personal level and I can't say he's my friend and some of my orders probably had a few hiccups but you have to be flexible in life and in the end he always came through.  As long as the person has good intentions and I used a Payment service that is going to reimburse me anyway....i don't see any issues with dealing with a small business like Benelliparts.

It sucks that you had a frustrating experience, hopefully you got your money back and picked up the parts you wanted somewhere else.

I may be interested. If you could fit it and see the fitment. Also if you can post the manufacturer so I could check it out.

The manufacturer or brand is ProMag....and I just remembered where it is so it might take me a minute to get it out of my storage unit.  I'll get in touch with you first once I install it.

  12. Would either of you guys be interested in a copycat version of the stock?  I have a brand new one in the box but have never opened the box since I have the real thing.  It's made by a company called pro something and it's an exact copy....at least visually.

Let me know...I could install it really quickly to see the quality of it I guess.

  13. In my opinion, the best ammo is going to be the Fiocchi 7/8 oz Aero Slugs 1300 FPS because it's just about the lowest FPS round you can use without worrying about cycling issues because anything under 1250 FPS, there's a 50% chance that the ammo won't cycle (jams) on a newer gun.

The reason the FPS is so important is because 12 guage shotguns have a lot of recoil and when your gun rattles the fillings out of your teeth on each shot, you're less likely to practice with the gun because it's unpleasant.  And you have to use above 1250 FPS to avoid jamming.

The Fiocchi 7/8oz 1300 fps Aero slugs will give you the least kick while still remaining reliable (won't jam) which means your shots will be more accurate and it'll be a much more pleasant shooting experience so you'll practice more.

I believe this is a popular round for 3 gun competitors for all the same reasons.

For home defense, I would use something like 00 Buckshot because it's like shooting someone with nine pistols at the same time so you have a higher chance of hitting the target and it'll be safer than shooting slugs through drywall walls.   And if you get a clean shot, hitting someone with 9 pieces of lead is most likely going to end the fight with a single shot.

Hi! I will be getting my hands on soon on a Benelli M4 Entry SBS. What is the lightest option out there for handguard? I'm looking to build a lightweight M4 and was wondering what's the lightest handguard available out there. Thanks guys!

    The stock handguard for sure.
