  1. was wondering if this seems like a normal amount of wear for a bolt for 150 rounds just seems like the finish came off still is smooth
  2. Just a little bit of an update did some more messing with it and seems to be a bit better atm no rounds come up behind the bolt but is still a bit stiff. And took it apart a couple times and there were some metal shavings im guessing something had a burr on it that was getting the timing out of wack. If any one is interested in an update after i put a number of rounds threw it or if i have issues in the future let me know.
  3. Not sure if this will help but i have a mk3 that the chokes kept coming loose and would rock back and forth in the threads got some choke tube lube and stoeger also sent some replacement chokes that solved the chokes loosening and the choke tube lube took up the gap in the threads.
  4. I know this a benelli forum but stoeger is part of benelli so hope its not an issue. But my issue is I picked up a p3000 and just dry firing and what not every now and then a round will come up just behind the bolt head or when the bolt is part way home and there was resistance when the action was all the way back when going forward that has gotten better just messing with it.
  5. that's how a couple others that have chokes are different systems but with the same pressure on the wrench but this im almost leaning on the wrench and will still come loose still waiting for the grease to come in.
  6. how tight it to much i can go pretty stupid tight with the benelli wrench
  7. I picked up the benelli wrench a little while ago still comes loose
  8. so with in a box of 25 have to tighten chokes at least once got a replacement choke coming not sure if that will help or not. But the difference between the muzzle threads and the threads on the chokes is .031 doesn't seem like that much room have a couple different types of grease coming but wanted to get some other opinions.
  9. Not entirely sure but each load will be a little different like i was shooting sellier and bellot #4 buck 27 pellot at least for me anything past 15 yards could not really call anything a pattern. With Federal OO buck LE 9 pellet flight control took out to about 35 yards before i had the same result as sellier and bellot. slugs my m1 i know different model but same idea elevation was on at about 50 yards but was about 4 inches left with just smooth barrel. The slugs were federal trueball.
  10. I picked up a used M1 that didn't look like it had been shot much at all it is 16 years old when i got it about a year ago. Haven't shot it much the last time i cleaned it noticed a couple very small slivers that were magnetic mostly around where the recoil spring cup is not sure if its from break in even given the age the only wear i can see is where the bolt rides on the barrel on its way to lock up and a little bit on the feed ramp. Just wanted to get some ideas so far have put maybe 120 rounds of mixed ammo threw it cycles everything even the next to no brass bird shot.
