So got the new tube the first one they sent was a tad bit longer. took couple pics showing the difference. sending first tube back and New one is on the gun and fits perfectly with no play.

i have oem hand guards.. i swapped back to oem tube and its like its supposed to be with no play. they are sending me another carbon tube will be here Wednesday maybe i just got one that got cut wrong. s**t happens there customer service was great and making it right sent me another one right away. im still gonna buy my 8 mlock from briley when there available.

To long my apologies just been frustrated trying to figure out why it was doing tha on my first post. It’s it locks on the pin and clicks when tightening but it it still has play

So after getting off the phone with briley top notch customer service btw. They are sending me another carbon tube seems that the carbon fiber was cut a bit short allowing the barrel to have movement Not locking it in.

So I did the carbon install on my black m4 and now I have a tiny bit of play on my barrel. if I grab the gun from the hand guard I can move the barrel up and down making a clicking noise with the carbon tube installed. the locking cap on top of the mag tube is tightened all the way but it won’t keep the barrel from having play any one else notice this? Seems as if the mag tube is just a tad short allowing the barrel to move. I called briley this morning and left their tech guy a vm waiting to hear back

just did mine thanks stranger for the advice. and after using a harbor freight heat gun only took about 10-15 min of heating and twisting till it came loose cleaned her up and installed the new carbon tube with a drop of blue thread lock. now just waiting for my briley 8'' m lock hand guard to show up..

i got a hold of two M4 from sportsman first ordered a 11707 model with a standard pistol grip stock. was showing to wife the one i got online and how i wish i got a 11701 (m1014) skel stock, and behold it was available.. ordered that one too they both shipped to my local sportsman i was gonna cancel one but said screw it ill take em both and sell one to a friend or some one who needs one. got it in central CA
