At least one more listed today. Been up a while. Pricey yes, but with limited access to Np3 coatings for non manufacturers, it may be and H20/Np3 aficionado best option ?♂️

Todd dropped a few of these tonight for sale. 1 or more still available at time of posting Selection #4, np3 tube with internals np3 https://freedomfightertactical.com/products/copy-of-70130-benelli-m4-recoil-spring-tube-m4-le-3-position?variant=40359992918208

What size magazine tube does this have, and if a 7 round, did you change the spring out?
-
Picked up some new Np3 parts for my M4 that were just added today over at Freedomfightertactical.com Todd has updated the Ever Growing Np3 section and added a limited amount of custom coated NP3 parts from Impact Weapons, and some OEM benelli parts. https://freedomfightertactical.com/collections/the-ever-growing-np3-collection

I've ordered a Collapsing stock from benelliparts.net before. Delivered under 60 days. Your milage may vary

@StrangerDanger is the resident forum master gunsmith
-
Welcome, there is a lot of good information and sources of information on this board (@StrangerDanger especially) on the Benelli platforms
-
Agree that a wtb/wts or trade section would clean up this main page
-
Thats what I did, but seeing that SD is now in full pheasant season I'm having a bit of delay and, expected locating and delivery of a to better suited to removing or installing the screw
-
No. A local gunsmith to my location. Previously good work. Returned the shotgun with stock on to conceal the shoddy work. Only discovered when stock removed to cross reference for a assembly of another complete tube.
-
Whatever it was, it should have been communicated to me of the issue. Its a integrity factor as well as a safety issue. You don't just slap the collapsing stock on it and hope the poor assembly isn't discovered on a $3000 plus shotgun
-
I realize no thread locker, but I don't know if this gunsmith used it because its very tight and almost ripped a thumb nail trying to remove it with a piece a metal that fit into the tooling points. It doesn't appear he even compared the removed normal finish tube assembly to build the NP3 assembly. I dont even know if he inserted the retaining ring in the front of the tube with what I've seen done in the rear
-
Thing is, its not that difficult to screw in on its own, even under spring tension. There's also supposed to be a snap ring to prevent the screw from walking out. I've tried different ways to get something to bite on the going areas, but I can't tell if the threads have been treated with locktite or not as there is no give at all to back it out

Took my M4 apart to send some parts to Wright for NP3 coating, and thought I'd check out the recoil assembly tube to verify putting a spare non-Np3 together before selling it. Well, imagine my surprise when I saw this... It shoots okay, but that's not the issue.
-
That looks really sweet. How does the NP3 hold up or allow adherence- say for example you had to go full Charlie Whiskey 2 mode and rattle can the exterior
-
Friendly reminder - Last day to get your parts in to be coated if shipping overnight. FedEx/UPS recommended
-
Send it first worry about shell carrier later. Priority to np3, imho.
-
Only end user, retail market seems to be affected. Manufacturers can still send batches for coating is my understanding. Wright probably wants to focus on commercial and not the ticky tack onesie-twosie piece projects
-
I reached out to Todd @ FFT and the screen caps are his response to how, or how not, this Wright Armory change would affect his operation since he is a quasi manufacturer See caps...
-
Gonna have to be a 1 or 2 day ship overnight situation so you can plan on meeting deadline with buffer to make it. Unfortunate additional cost, but under circumstances should be no problem for someone budgeting for that level of project
-
No, no other place
-
Todd at FFT will probably still be able to produce np3 coated parts if he qualifies as a manufacturer at some level of quantity, plus likely he'll continue to send limited quantities of oem parts, or 3rd party parts like A&S trigger housings etc Waiting to see his response on his channel. Will likely help his niche business quite a bit
