Thanks for the effort in your explanation but I don’t believe any of that addressed the original question at all.

Anyone have the Taran Tactical oversized safety? Is there really that much of a difference from the OEM?
-
Anyone know of a place to get a spare parts kit for the M4 other than the extremely overpriced FFT?

Annnnd they’re gone

Jagerwerks has the BROS in stock for anyone looking to acquire one.

I bought this one from Amazon. Holds 2 long guns and for approx $70. Can be used as a backpack. Works great so far. @StreetSweeper56 have you had any issues getting your barrel to fully seat against the receiver with the Briley handguard on? Mine originally wouldn’t seat. I ended up having to remove a washer from the barrel guide ring to get it to seat. Now sometimes it will fully seat but a lot of the time it is still slightly off from fully seating. Cant figure out the “sweet spot”. Have you experienced anything similar?

For those that have installed an extended carrier, does it really make a difference? Is it worth the spend?
-
Would you be willing to sell just the collapsible stock?

Someone really hates himself lol

Yes it is

Finished installing the new full length mag. Special thanks to @SOCOMguy for providing the mag and @StrangerDanger for the detailed instructions on install.
-
Cant go wrong with either. I just decided I like the look of the 13” a little more. Plus more space to mount accessories.
-
It’s definitely “girthier” than the OEM lol The mlok slots help with the grip. I like it
-
It just about the same to field strip as the original handguard. Just remove the barrel and slide the handguard off. I did have to remove one of the washers inside the barrel guide ring (pictured) in order to get the barrel to go flush with the receiver though.
-
Just added the Briley M-Lok 13” handguard to mine yesterday. Can add a pic later if you want.
-
Yeah even pressing on it as hard as I could with the buttstock on the ground it wouldn’t go flush. I just removed one of the washers from the guide ring and now it fits flush ??
-
I’m trying to install the Briley M-Lok handguard. When the handguard is on I cannot get the barrel to go flush with the receiver. Best I can tell is that the barrel guide ring is not fully inserting into the adapter (pictured) on the handguard. I noticed the spring and washers inside the guide ring that I assume is preventing the guide ring from fully seating in the handguard. Can I remove those washers/spring? Are they needed?

Thanks for that explanation Cobra!

Yeah, one would think you should be able to load the magazine without having the gun cocked.
-
Pardon me if this is a stupid question….Is there a purpose to the shell lifter being locked when the gun is un-cocked? It just seems counterintuitive.
-
What is the end cap on the magazine? I apologize if you already mentioned it. I see you mentioned the Nordic +1 but I can’t seem to find it.
