  2. I’ll second eurooptic. They also have some discount programs if you qualify. I’ve purchased optics and firearms significantly discounted as demo’s that were indistinguishable from new from there as well. You can also go to forums like ar15.com equipment exchange that have new and pre owned optics etc where you can snag a good deal.
  3. Sound’s like a threat to expose what they are claiming to be a fraud, perpetrated against their company. Obviously, without more information from you and them, I can’t comment, if there’s any justification for the statement.
  4. Glad I could be of help. Any of these pistol grip stock’s should be easy to locate at various online site’s.
  5. You can google up the model and then get on notification list’s. It will probably be a long wait or gunbroker no wait
  6. You can get a factory Benelli pistol grip stock or if you want a shorter length of pull, you could get a mesa tactical urbino. As far as a side saddle goes, you’d probably be best served with one of the shotgun cards velcro type setup to avoid any cycling issue’s. I use Esstac but there are also a couple other quality manufacturer’s people also recommend.
  7. If it was mine, I would not be pleased
  8. Well, I figured I would add a little information after completing my sight installation project. First, a comment about the night sights. The Benelli night sights run about $150’.00. I was considering the meprolights which run under $100.00 but I read a couple comments that people weren’t very impressed, especially with the brightness. I went with the Benelli but I hadn’t noticed when ordering that they don’t have any white ring around the dots of any sort, so they aren’t too easy to pickup when looking through them in regular lighting. Installation, As Doge pointed out, the rear sight windage adjustment screw is turned counter clockwise until the long screw is completely removed. Then just gently wiggle the rear post out and theres a coil spring that sits inside a hole in the side of the sight post. Utilize the spring from the old sight, insert into the side of the new sight and gently install back into the ghost sight frame cavity careful not to damage the spring. I used a needle long nose type tip diamond tweezers to help guide the soring into position so when reinserting the screw will have to slide through the center of the spring when installing screw back into the hole in the sight. Then just turn clockwise until the rear sight is back into it’s centered position. The front sight This one you need a special tool to get to the locking nut under the sight post. I couldn’t find any tools I had that would work. I read somewhere there is an automotive tool that would work but I couldn’t find anything locally. So I just purchased the tool from FFT and a spare nut. Again just loosen counter clockwise until the nut is off and out will come the front sight post and the ghost sight wings. Put the night sight post through the wings back onto the front sight mount and then try to get the nut started. This is the difficult part of the installation because you really can’t hang onto the nut to get it in there and started or fit fingers in there. What I did was again use my diamond jeweler’s tweezers to grasp and hokd the nut. While holding the barrel and sight at an angle I pushed my finger up in there from underneath just too block the nut from falling and help guide and hold the nut in position while getting it started with my diamond tweezers. Once it’s started you can use the regular wrench tool to get it almost snug. At that point you’ll have to get the wings and the post in the proper position and even. There’s enough play that you can tighten the nut and everything is cockeyed or crooked so I had to loosen and tighten a few times to get it right because it kept moving as I was almost snugged up either the wings, the post or both so it was a little frustrating. I had to get it straight holding the wings with a finger and the post with my tweezers so nothing would move and twist while tightening the nut. I hope someone finds this thread information useful for their future sight replacement project
  9. My search comes up empty. If someone has a link to any installation instructions or wouldn’t mind writing a brief instruction would be appreciated. I have a Benelli M2 tactical with ghost ring sights and purchased the Benelli night sight insert posts sight set. I’m pretty handy but if a video or instructions are available I like to read or watch first. I did purchase the front sight nut wrench and spare locking nut but any information on the rear and front sight disassembly or any tips would be helpful thank you!
  10. Thanks for the response. I wound up sending the bolt carrier to C-Rums for the mod for $20.00 plus shipping. I’ll probably just use ghost loading at the range. Thanks again for your response
  11. Good to see you received a response. That confirms the issue and modification was correct. Thanks for posting
  12. I’m not a 3 gunner or an experienced shotgunner but the extended carrier was less painful for my thumb
  13. That’s fantastic! I’m glad I was able to help. FYI, I never did receive a call back from the voicemail I left for Mesa Tactical to discuss the issue. It seems this may possibly become a re-occurring issue that should really be addressed by Mesa Tactical as it’s supposed to be drop in and the customer shouldn’t have to perform these modifications imho. I do like their products and perhaps it was an oversight and I slipped through the cracks but this has left me unimpressed with the customer service.
  14. A few threads down you’ll see my post regarding the issue and fix. If your issue was the same as mine there is no way to address it without the modification I performed. I’ve come to the conclusion that there could be only three reasons for the issue. The stock was mispackaged but and is for a different model but has the correct label, the stock is out of spec, or Benelli made dimensional or design change to the recoil tube assembly and/or the threaded tang. While it pissed me off, it was a simple fix. I wasted a lot of time though fiddling with it and researching before I finally figured out the issue. If you take a close look, you’ll see why it won’t completely slide on. Here, I’ll make it even easier for you and post the link to my urbino m2 thread. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any feedback from my thread with a solution and after a lot of aggravation and assembly delay was able to resolve the issue on my own. There was nothing I could find video or otherwise about the urbino and M2 installation. You don’t have to enlarge the hole a crazy amount just a drill bit size one or two larger than the current hole size. You’ll notice the unthreaded part of the shaft is just slightly larger diameter than the threaded portion which will prevent the tube from seating inside the plastic cup in the center of the stock. You’ll have to put the large oval steel washer in the vice to drill the hole larger in that part which will fit over the unthreaded portion of the shaft and you will also use the rubber spacer. It shows the diagram in the instruction papers. Good luck and let us know how you made out.
  15. Hi, The mesa tactical box tag says it’s for the Benelli M2 model. I suppose there is always the possibility that a stock for another variant was incorrectly packaged with the box being correct and the stock was not, but yes I was able to resolve the issue. I did put in a call to Mesa Tactical but haven’t gotten a response at this time.
  16. During my exhaustive search I was unable to find any threads or videos specifically geared towards the mesa tactical urbino pistol grip stock and the Benelli M2. So it is my hope this thread helps someone in the future, should they encounter the same problems. The long story short, I don’t know if it was an out of spec issue with the urbino stock or a dimensional part change with Benelli. The issue was resolved by drilling the plastic cup mount inside the stock and the provided large oval steel washer to a slightly larger diameter and that allowed the recoil tube and threaded shaft to fully seat in the stock. Otherwise it was physically impossible to install the stock without this small modification. Thank you
  17. Does anyone have this stock and an M2? Would you please post your experience with installation, did you run into any issues with installing? Thanks
  18. Good evening, I was wondering if anyone familiar with the mesa tactical urbino stock and preferably with the M2 as well could give me any installation assistance. I got the stock on and then I can’t get it to go any further with it not reaching the receiver. Any advice? Thanks again!
  19. Hi, thanks for the response. Please excuse me for my ignorance. I have the M2 tactical and I have it out of the box. It has 18.5 inch barrel and Forbes and magazine tube is significantly shorter than the barrel with advertised capacity of 5+ 1. I was on Benelliparts.net and I saw an oem +2. So I figured that would make it 7 + 1 and also get the magazine tube close to the barrel length but it’s the exact same part that can off the M2 so did I mention order the wrong extension tube? I’m going to see if I can post a picture of the gun and part. Also what keeps the little piece at the end of the magazine extension fitted in there. I can’t get it to stay so there isn’t a big gaping hole at the end of the extension tube? edited pictures the tube below is the what came on the gun. I assume the long black plastic piece is for waterfowl limiter. The black round disc below the plug I’m guessing is the optional magazine spring retention plug? The black piece below the magazine tube doesn’t stay put in the end and can’t even figure out how to get it to stay. Makes me wonder why not just have the end of the tube closed off but anyway the oem +2 I purchased is the exact same piece as below and will not lengthen the tubes overall length for capacity or to be almost even with end of the barrel so I’m completely confused how this can be? I don’t see anyway to screw the tube below together with the +2 what am I doing wrong?
  20. Hi, I just picked up my M2 tactical with five round magazine capacity. In anticipation of receiving the firearm I purchased a oem Benelli +2 extension to make a 7 round magazine tube. Looking at the shotgun the cap and end of magazine tube looks the same as the +2 did I get the wrong part?
