MAPP gas torch worked flawlessly. Around 30 seconds with no discoloration or cracking. After re reading the forum I saw that blue loctite is recommended. Is red loctite safe? I applied a generous amount to the thread before applying. thanks!

Hey! Quick question. If you’ve been heating the outer ring for 2 hours with 1100 degree heat gun, and it still isn’t budging, is it safe to say the ring is sealed by metal? Thanks!
