I Bought 12g 3-1/2 SuperNova and have shot LESS than one box of shells through the gun. I am having the exact same issue with misfiring/light primer strikes. I notice many people here are stating cold temperatures, I dont believe temp has anything whatsoever to do with it. I live in Georgia , missfires happened to me when weather was 70*-80* outside. I was able to see exactly whats going on, the bolt is sloppy at best, my bolt locks up EVERY time but if you watch it closely you will see the bolt carrier retreat backwards just a very small amount, follow me here , bolt locks up perfect but the carrier returns back away just a very small amount 1/16th to 1/8". And that small gap is causing the firing pin to have to make up that distance, sometimes it will , sometimes it will NOT. If I take gun outside right now and push the pump foward HARD AS HELL to close the 1/8 gap you can kinda force it to Fire, but only if you use EXTREME foward force period. Simply no way to have any sort of accuracy when every other trigger pull is a click. Kardan couple post up has explained it perfectly as well. Only reason Im posting this , I needed to kill coyote at chicken coop this morning, I grabbed SuperNova creeped down through backyard drew bead on him digging, Aim breath squeeze, Click, coyote run , WTF. Anyway Does anybody know if there is a fix to this? Will Benelli fix it? Im not listening to "when did you clean it last" "it must be dirty" "you dunno how to jack a shell" I have literally shot 5 #5Longbeards through gun and 10 #8 birdshot through gun. 15 total times weapon has been shot. Been shooting shotguns all my life I aint never seen no BS like this.
