The front sight on my Nova is very loose such that it slides left to right even with small motions of the gun. I see there is a little nut underneath that fits a 5.5mm wrench. However, when I turn it, it doesn’t move up or down on the little bolt it is on. I cannot tighten the nut or loosen/remove it. I have tried using some pliers to hold the bolt still as I turn the nut, but the nut just spins in-place without tightening or loosening.
Does anyone have some advice on getting the nut off? I could just superglue the sight in the correct position, but that is a nuclear option that I’d rather not take.
I’ve only shot about 200 shells through the gun (it is a few months old).
