duckhunter7
I have a SBE and I was wondering what choke tube anyone likes/dislikes. My brother has a Patterenmaster and likes it a lot. I just bought a Carlson and it was a piece of junk when I patterned it. Is there any others that anyone has had experience with?
tucker301
Well, Here's a subject we've never discussed before I like Primos Dead Zone tubes. I've had a very good, albeit abbreviated, season with them this year.
IdahoDucker
I get good results with the factory modified choke in my SBE using Kent 3" 1 1/8 oz. #3's so I haven't bothered to try anything else. Tempting though. Always room to improve I guess.

Rock Hall Goose'n
I handload Hevi-Shot # 2's for waterfowl and use a Cabelas zero choke (same diameter as the barrel, no restriction at all). With my loads I get good patters for decoying and pass shooting birds. If you use factory ammo, you can probably do just fine with either the IC or Mod tube that came with the gun.
