I am having trouble with my early 90's m1s90 cycling my shells. I had it professionally cleaned and it has improved. The smith reccomended I replace the original cycling tube with a stainless one.( i hunt ducks in the salt). i have seen one from srm. Is it worth it? ($150) and does Benelli make one out of stainless?

Say that to yourself out loud.

$150 for a spring, which if you measure and find one at McMaster-Carr would be in the $20 range.

Benelli buys it's springs, they don't make them.

It's not just the spring he's talking about, it's the whole tube assembly. I've heard good things about them but still, just a regular cleaning and lubing should accomplish the same thing.

Not sure if you would have a Sportsmans Warehouse anywhere close by you, but the one by me has the SRM's half price around seventy five. I will probably get one for my M4 if they have.
