If your handguard is not straight and true (difficult to guarantee from the factory with polymer), your barrel and magazine will take a set off your rear sights. You would think it would be the other way around, but the thermoplastic is rather sturdy. I spent hours on a Dremel tool making my bowed and twisted BM-4 fit. But by then, so much material had been removed that I decided to shelve the product in favor of the factory guards. However, the pic rails themselves are impressive.
