Recently started shooting skeet with my SBEII.

Is there a reason for concern with continuosly shooting singles, having the action locking open after each shot.

Wondering if there will be any premature wear or shorten the life span of any parts.

Thank You for any words of wisdom!

I perform single shot emergency drills alot and really never thought about if it would be bad for the weapon or not,,Benellis are very tough shotguns,,,,now that I've thought about it,,,no harm done,,,have fun with your Benelli smile.gif

I have shot several hundred rounds of 16 yard trap with my M2 and did not notice any unusual wear from being sinlge shot.

So keep plugging away at those little clay pigeons.
