ChrisAK
I picked up one of the stainless steel Vang Comp followers today at a local shop. Although I understand these were built for the Remingtion 870's (which is why I bought it), I am wondering how these perform in Benellis. Anyone have any experience with these steel followers in their M4's or M2's?? They seem to be the best on the market. Thoughts? -Chris
Duggan
Does the stock follower have a problem or something? Will this new follower in any way shape or form do something that the stock one does not?
ChrisAK
The stock followers are plastic, and also have potential for causing jams from what I have read/been told by people much more knowledgeable than I. The steel ones will not chip etc. and last a long time. It's just a matter of all the custom bits and pieces, really. I was just curious to see if anyone here has actually used the Vang Comp steel followers in their Benellis.
Duggan
I have not, but what I HAVE heard is people having problems with various aftermarket followers, and reverting back to the stock follower. If it ain't broke ... why spend money to try and fix a non existent problem. edit: for the record my "flimsy" plastic follower in my m4 with 11k rounds through it looks like new.
