TG737 Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 I have just bought a new SBE11 12 gauge and was wondering if it is ok to shoot slugs through it for occasional deer/ hog hunts or do I need to buy an additional barrel and fore end. If so does anyone have one for sale. Quote

MikeB Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 Cylinder or IC. If you are wondering what rifling will improve get a rifled choke tube. It will be 10% the cost of a slug barrel/foreend/bases/rings/scope. Plus the rifled choke tube will unlock the world of saboted slugs. Be sure to read the package cuz some sabot slugs in 2 3/4 are not recommend for 3.5 chambers. If you really want a slug barrel, after the new year I may consider getting rid of mine. Still have a few more deer hunting opportunities left:D Quote
