Lakotah
Anybody know the correct size of the nut under the front sight post? The smallest I have at the house is a 7mm open end wrench and its too big. I have been to Sears, AutoZone,O'Reillys, and the hardware store looking for something small enough to take it off with, but no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Guest cleefurd
7/32" or 5.5mm... either will work, but the 5.5mm is closest. Edited January 11, 2009 by cleefurd
Lakotah
Thanks Cleefurd. Any idea where I can get a wrench that small?
tactical1
I'd probably spend a bit more and get a better quality wrench even if it is only going to be used once or twice.....if you round the nut off, it will probably be a far more expensive fix that just buying a quality tool up front - my 2 cents YMMV http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00974523000P?vName=Tools&cName=HandTools,GeneralPurpose&sName=Wrenches&psid=FROOGLE01&sid=IDx20070921x00003a http://www.worldtools.com/tools/combination-wrench-metric-sizes-55mm-13mm-p-873.html http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXSKY1&P=N
Lakotah
Thanks for the info. Ya, I didn't want to mar up the nut, so I have been holding off till I got the correct tool. Thanks again
