Mesa 6-Shot Rail Holder M4 Count as a US Part? Taking off the Factory Rail and installing the Mesa?

Hi Zee,

Sorry , but no, it would do nothing for reducing your parts count to 10 or less since it is not one of the 13 parts that the ATF considers the M4 to be comprised of. For more info on this topic check out this thread:

Thanks for the info. My M4 out of the box has Factory Buffer with all the Notches. Just twist off the Fixed Stock, and twist on the Collapsible Stock. Three position Buffer Tube. Closed, Half way, and Fully extended.

Congrats on the M4 shotgun purchase you made the right choice. Now as far as a sidesaddle, I have a nylon buttstock sidesaddle that balances better over the rail mounted ones imho.

Hey Zee,

I checked out your pics, looks great! Here's the buttstock carrier that I use. It's made by Specter Gear. It can be used as an attachment point for their sling (which I use) or it's also fine stand alone.

Was looking @ their Slings. Not sure witch one to use on the Benelli's. I do need Slings. Went to Shoot Straight for the annual sale. Did pick up a nice Gun Case. My dad picked up a N.I.B. Colt LE for $1400 out the door. They have 4 left.

It comes with a short attachment strap that attaches to the Benellis buttstock sling loop but I dont use it since I attach to the rear sling adapter section of the shell holder seen here:

Thanks for the link. I could not find it @ their site. I have some of these on my AR Platforms, and HK Platforms. A ebay seller sold them years ago. $34.00 is a decent $. I will grab a few Slings and a Shell Carrier. Thanks again.
