RKE4
After a rainy day turkey hunting this spring, I took my SBE completely apart to dry it out and clean it. Maybe I did something wrong putting it back together, but now the pin that holds the trigger mechanism in place does not stay put. Not sure if there is some sort of retaining clip that holds it in place that I missed. If anyone could offer some help, I would greatly appreciate it - I'm looking to go out duck/goose hunting this weekend, and I'd love to use my SBE. Thanks! edon
Brownells shows a small clip that retains the pin (on the side of the trigger housing I think), part #81 on their parts diagram. I don't have a SBE to verify this though. http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=0/sid=570/schematicsdetail/Super_Black_Eagle
RKE4
I was not familiar w/ the brownells site before. That retaining clip looks like what I need - I think you may have just saved me a bunch of $ by not having to go to a gunsmith!!
