wired1979 Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 I just bought a Steady Grip stock for my SBE to use as a turkey gun. I need to figure out how to mount a sling to this stock. Is there a mount or clip I need that goes in the hole on the stock? if so, can some one tell me where to find one? thanks wired1979 Quote
GoBow Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Wired, I'm getting ready to do the same with my SBE. Going to use a Vickers sling and mount it either through the stock sling mount plate, or a GG&G adapter between the receiver and the Steady Grip. Not 100% sure the GG&G option will work. Waiting on my Steady Grip to arrive next week before going that route. I'll try to remember to post a couple of pics when I'm done. Best of luck to you! Quote
mudhen Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 The plate in the stock is slotted on both sides to accept a sling. You don't use the traditional style mount, you just use the sling material itself w/o the metal connector. Quote
