Xtant
Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I'm in the market for my first shotgun. Primary use will be home defense. I've pretty much settled on an M11722. Gonna try to get the NFA ball rolling when I go home on leave in six weeks. Anyway, about myself. I'm an E5 in the KY National Guard. Should be promoted within the next 30 days to E6. I have 7+ years in the Guard with 2 years active duty before that. I'm currently deployed to Afghanistan. Second deployment. Spent a year in Iraq at Camp Taji a couple years ago. When I'm not deployed, I'm a full time mechanic for the Guard. As I said, I'm looking for a home defense weapon. I'm drawn to M11722 mainly because of my training. We've had M4s (the 5.56 kind ) with collapsible stocks for years. I'm just too used to maneuvering a short little rifle. The 14" barrel and a collapsible stock should feel just about right. I'm still looking for good collapsible stock options. that's what brought my research here. Forums tend to have the best information. Anyway, I've spent a few hours reading through this site and it seems like a pretty nice place. I hope to stick around for a while... Unobtanium
I am unaware of a collapsible stock for any Benelli's except the M3 (technically hinged) and the M4.
Xtant
The exact model I would like to find is a transferable 11724. I've found an 11722. Would that not accept the collapsible stock? Impact Guns has the 11724 for $1724, but says to "call for lead time."
