Removing/replacing from bead SBE

There may be a bit of loctite on it.

 

Apply some heat with a hair dyer, heat gun, or dip in boiling water for a few seconds. An open flame will melt the plastic in the bead.

Then unscrew the bead using small pliers.

 

If you want to save the OEM bead or protect it from damage, wrap the jaws of the pliers with tape to prevent scarring.
