Experience with R1 in 300 win mag?

• Hi guys, I'm seriously looking at the R1 in 300 win mag for big game hunting out west (antelope, mule deer, elk, goat, sheep etc). Anyone have one or have any experience with one? Any specific thoughts on accuracy, recoil, reliability etc? Thanks for your help!

I have the 300 r1 for moose and bear. I would say that other than the elk you listed the 300 is somewhat over kill. I would recomend the 270 as an all around go to gun. Great for elk. Not too small for moose and black bear. It would be my "one gun only" choice. I have a 257 wby mag for the critters u list.
