Comfortech or pistol grip?

I am thinking about getting a Supernova tactical. Should I get the comfortech stock or the pistol grip? Does the comfortech really reduce felt recoil? If so, that is probably the way I want to go, but I do like pistol grip stocks.

 

I plan on shooting buckshot and slugs through this pump, so that may influence the choice if the comfortech works as advertised.

I have the pistol grip and love it. I tried both and preferred the feel of the pistol grip stock. I would suggest that you do the same if you have any doubts.

One disadvantage of the pistol grip is you have to unbolt it to drop the trigger guard and remove the bolt for cleaning.

I recently bought a M1s90 and it had the pistol grip stock. I then ran out and bought a field stock. If I could have a comfortech stock on it, thats what I'd have done.

 

If I were clearing buildings for a living the PG makes sense, I don't. For me a regular stock "feels" more natural.

 

That said, both are comfortable.
