If you can get the butt pad off you might be able to. The screw they show there is not visible from the back, as you probably know. I'll sell it to you, but I don't know how to remove the sling plate.

Just out of curiousity, why would somebody want to remove the sling plate?

The reason I tried to remove mine was to open the passage for my sling to go through. The front sling mount is 1 1/4" wide and the rear is 1", I gave up and put on the C-stock instead. BTW, a 1 1/4" sling will go through the rear plate with some effort and pliers.
