SBE2 Posted February 28, 2006 Share Posted February 28, 2006 Question number 1: I have heard that you cant get a gun CLEANER on the camo finish of our gun but can oil get on it. I have been making sure that not a drop of oil or cleaner gets on my new SBE2s finishes, but an I worrying to much about the oil? question number 2: I was considering putting a mag extinsion on my new SBE2 SteadyGrip, 1 to have 2 more shells and 2 to reduce the recoil a little. nodark Posted February 28, 2006 Share Posted February 28, 2006 I haven't noticed cleaner affecting my camo'd M1. Get the mag extension and give it a try or you'll keep wondering. IdahoDucker Posted March 1, 2006 Share Posted March 1, 2006 I use Breakfree CLP for everything on my camo SBE. No problems. I have seen the gun scrubber type stuff cause problems with older painted on type camo so I avoid it except to occasionally blast out the trigger assembly but only after it is out of the gun.
