BigAlD Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Just got a M4 as a present with a snap cap in it. I opened the gun and it ejected. closed the gun put the cap in the magazine tube now it won't eject it from the tube to load. I tried the little lever but no go. Is there something I am missing or is the pachmayr snap cap at fult? Should I just take apart the mag tube from the other end? Thanks for your help. Big Al D Quote
SgtCathy Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 Check the rim of the snap cap for burrs caused by the extractor. File or sand them off gently and retry. I use snap caps in my O/U but not in any of my semi-auto's becuase of the extractor damage. Quote
