redw&blue
I am looking at the side armor rail system. One of the options is getting the 6mm channel. What is that and should I get it?
M4Real
From their website: After numerous requests, we have provided two variants for the receiver rail, a solid top rail or a 6mm channel cut down the middle of the receiver rail to allow a more visible front site.I ordered a short rail that should be here tomorrow. I'm concerned that it's going to block my sites because it doesn't appear to have the channel in it.
Flascot007
Get the channel if you plan on using your factory sights. If not, then it does not matter.
LeoAtrox
For the short rail, it's not going to be an issue. If you are getting the long rail which has a length that extends to the end of the forearm, you may want to get the channel. Just my $.02.
