firemanfrank
I just bought a used Benelli Super Nova Tactical from a gunshop and the action is stiff. It was made in 2010 and I think it was either never fired or only shot very little as it was mint when I got it. I have put probably 50 rounds through it so far (all slugs) and I love the gun but I can't work the action fast. It is like it is all gummed up and sluggish to move. I intend to detail clean it as soon as I can find a manual but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as what I should look for. I did oil the action and the two bars before hitting the range the 1st time with Hoppes #9 lubricating oil. Thanks.
bulldog18
Check the two action bars screws in the forend. Sometimes when these get too tight they can cause binding making it hard to pump.
