New Nova...Help Please

Hello all, I'm new to the board.

 

I just bought a new Nova Pump this morning, and the carrier stays down (pushed in) when I load a shell. My 870 doesn't do this, so I don't think my Nova should either.

 

What's wrong, and how can I fix it?

Nothing is wrong.

 

You can pull it back down with your finger if it really bugs you.

Over time, it will loosen up and snap back down on its own.

 

All new Benellis do it.
