mysbeII
I have had a problem for the last few days with my SBE II hanging up on shells once in awhile. Its six years old and had 10,000 to 12,000 magnum loads put though it. I took it apart today after a hunt to clean it and noticed that inside the barell where the bolt action is, that there is a little spring coverd by a thin piece of metal. This thin piece has snapped in half, must be from all the magnum loads over the years, anyone else seen this? Figures a year over warranty, now looking to buy a new barell!! tucker301
Why not just call Benelli and explain the issue. Chances are they'll send you the parts.

mysbeII
Does anyone know the exact purpose of the ejector plate in the flange of the barrel? How it works?
tucker301
You remove it by sliding the spring out if the port as shown below. Then slide the plate back and lift the tab over the barrel ring - slide out.
mysbeII
And I assume replace the with the plate being put in first then the spring inserted last throught he same hole?
tucker301
That would be correct. Yes.
