opiejp
I have purchased a kicks hi-flyer full choke tube for my 28" Nova barrel. Will it be safe to fire 3" lead #1 buckshot through this choke? The kicks website states the choke is good for any type of shot,so i am assuming it will be all right? I plan to use this combo for coyote out to 50yds.Would i be better off by using my turkey loads (federal 3-1/2" #4 shot) or maybe even a steel shot load? Thanks and any suggestions would be appreciated.

tucker301
It's safe, but I would pattern the gun with that choke vs some others. Sometimes a tight choke and larger shot don't mesh too well and the pattern will open up on you.
