sghump Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 Do you have to be equipped with Benelli's ComforTech synthetic stock system to be able to use the gel pads? And if so Does any one know of a website that sells the comfortech 13.5 LOP gel pads? Quote
tucker301 Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 Yes. The pad fits into a groove in the Comfortech stock. The standard stocks use a more traditional styled pad held on by screws. Your best bet would be to look at an aftermarket pad. Kickeez model KZ-111 fits Benelli SBE, M1, Montefeltro, and Sport models, and the pad is made from the same material as are the Benelli gel pads. http://www.kickeezproducts.com/p_recoil_pads.php Quote
gunner76 Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 What type of stock and gun do you have now?the wood stocks on the M2 and SBEII have snap on recoil pads like the comfortech. I took the gel pad off my comfortech and tried it on my M2 wood and it fit, but it seemed to look like putting the gel pad on the wood stock made the LOP longer than it was with the gel pad on the comfortech stock. Brownells sells the gel pads but they are close to $90. Quote
sghump Posted September 28, 2006 Author Posted September 28, 2006 I have the benelli nova synthetic stock. Should the standard recoil pad slip off so a comfortech recoil pad can be put on without screws? Quote
