Phil V Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Hello, friends - I'm new to shotguns, and was looking at a used black SuperNova with a 26" barrel and a Nordic magazine extension (+6). I plan to use it for non-hunting pursuits. My question is that the stock looks factory (the recoil pad looks like standard Benelli), but it looks different than the current SN's on the website here. It's a standard stock (no pistolgrip), but the handgrip is stippled instead of grooved, and the stock doesn't have the "comfortech" look on the sides - it's just flat black, like a non-pistolgrip tactical stock. My questions are simply: Did earlier SuperNovas come without the comfortech stock? Are the earlier ones still fairly simple to change the stocks out? I'd like to know before I purchase it, as I may opt to swap the stock out before I use it. Thanks for your time! Phil Quote
