Specialized
I have a new Nova that I'd like to reverse the safety on. Benelli says I'll burn in **** if I try to do it myself, and others say it's not that bad of a job. Has anyone here done it, and how difficult was it to accomplish? As for my gunsmithing skills, I build 1911's and have been doing gunsmithing on SIGs, HK's, Browning rifles, and 1911 for years. I'm quite happy to send the trigger group to Benelli if I need to, but if not I'd rather save the time and expense. Any ideas? Thanks! tucker301
Done it. Given your experiences, you should have little to no problems with the operation. It's tedious, because the detent and srping are in a blind space underneath the crossbolt, rather than on top like most guns. Take a look at it and decide what tools you'll want to use and give it a shot.
