stetford1 Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 I borrowed a buddie's m2 field to do some bird hunting a week ago. During the hunt, somehow the recoil pad fell off and I lost it. I have bought a new comfortech recoil pad, but it seems like I'm missing a piece as it doesn't just snap in like I thought it would. I've attached pics, if someone can help me out and tell me if I'm missing a piece or what's going on. Thank in advance for your help!!! Quote
stetford1 Posted December 11, 2012 Author Posted December 11, 2012 there's nothing in the stock that the lip on the recoil pad would snap into. I know it's kind of a pain in the butt, but could I talk you into pulling the recoil pad off yours and show me what it looks like inside? Quote
Nellie-M2 Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Ill have to look tomorrow, mu guns in my truck and im fixing to hit the sack. ill get back with ya! Quote
truckcop Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 (edited) Yep, you're missing an insert that has a lip that the pad snaps into. The whole thing must have popped out. I don't think that is a piece you can buy seperately. I would call benelli customer service, ask them to replace the stock, or maybe they can repair yours. Edited December 11, 2012 by truckcop Quote
stetford1 Posted December 11, 2012 Author Posted December 11, 2012 Thats just my luck. It'll probably be cheaper for me to buy a new gun rather than get all of the right pieces. Quote
truckcop Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 You really should call Benelli. I bet they'll make it right. Quote
Nellie-M2 Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Yeah, I looked at mine and there is an insert inside the stock. If your buddy filled out his warranty he shoudl be able to get it fixed. They have a lifetime warranty on them! Quote
