M4-Desert Camo
The gun store that sold me my M4 also sold me a KleenBore Shotgun cleaning kit. The copper brush seems so stiff and takes a good tug to pull it through. I only used it once fearing I would scratch the barrel ..... am I over reacting and worrying about nothing? Guest jsn124
As long as its the 12ga brush you should be fine. Its actually a phosphor bronze brush which has the copper color and its definitely made to safely clean your barrel. I've heard the barrel is "chrome" lined inside so I'm not sure if that makes a difference but I've used kleenbore bronze brushes on my other firearms with no issues at all. They work great! M4-Desert Camo
Yup, it's a 12ga brush ... I used "copper" reffering to the color but I'm sure it's bronze and not copper. I'm not a fan of the aluminum rod and may look into something coated and flexible.
XTrooper
There's no need to worry about scratching the inside of a shotgun barrel; not that it would anyway since it's a battle of copper vs steel. Steel wins.
