Saw this thread when I searched: If I can actually rotate the front sling mount to the left, then the CQB sling is the best route. Hope this helps someone. This link does not work for me. I'm a shotgun newbie and I just bought a used Benelli M4 and I want to rotate the front sling mount. I welcome suggestions on how to do this. Remember, I'm a newbie. Quote

I welcome suggestions on how to do this. Remember, I'm a newbie. You need snap ring pliers to remove the retaining ring. Once that is done, the sling loop will slide off the front over the end of the magazine tube. Re-index it to the desired position, then reinstall the snap ring. Snap ring pliers are pretty cheap and an invaluable tool to have. Quote
