forzArmata
What's the long answer?
paladinjme
The pics aren't very high res...but this may shed some light. They attach to the recoil tube differently, are molded differently and have different internal hardware. There is an 'exploded view' of the M1/M3 stock on this page: http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=0/sid=683/schematicsdetail/Super-90-M1-Military-Police#s15628sid683 There is an 'exploded view' of the M4 stock on this page: http://www.brownells.com/ascx/.aspx/sid=916/schematicsdetail/Benelli-M4

paladinjme
I thought you were going to try to make an M1 / M3 stock fit on an M4.
forzArmata
No way. I like things to go relatively easy.

forzArmata
I just ordered one through my local Benelli dealer via Stoeger Canada. Don't ask how much it cost, not that it was preventing me from ever getting one
forzArmata
While we're on the topic, is the 81041 easily to install like a Remington stock? Also, How does a sling attach to it? Edited April 27, 2013 by forzArmata
truckcop
Also, How does a sling attach to it? It was originally designed to use the HK 3-point sling. The snap hook on the left was for use at the front and the bent plate on the right was designed to fit in the slot of the side mount on the stock.
