Does the M3 standard stock fit on the M4?

The pics aren't very high res...but this may shed some light. They attach to the recoil tube differently, are molded differently and have different internal hardware.

i've thought about doing that. it looks like it could work. has anyone tried it before? i've been hunting for an m4 synthetic standard stock too for quite some time. anyone have any leads?

I just ordered one through my local Benelli dealer via Stoeger Canada. Don't ask how much it cost, not that it was preventing me from ever getting one

It was originally designed to use the HK 3-point sling. The snap hook on the left was for use at the front and the bent plate on the right was designed to fit in the slot of the side mount on the stock.
