Gun Geek Posted June 29, 2015 Share Posted June 29, 2015 Needing some help with my Ethos. I like the gun, however I am having a significant issue with the harshness of the recoil. I'm finding it more harsh than a 12 gauge pump action. The Progressive Comfort system isn't doing it for me. I've already tried using a Sorbothane pad in my shooting vest, but it's hardly helping. waterfowlhunter Posted June 30, 2015 Share Posted June 30, 2015 Is the gun fitting you correctly? I know my Ethos has very little recoil even with Heavy trap loads. I fired 200 rounds of AA 1-1/8 oz 1200fps loads thru it and it was much less felt recoil than my 725 with the same loads.
