Gun Geek Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Needing some help with my Ethos. I like the gun, however I am having a significant issue with the harshness of the recoil. I'm finding it more harsh than a 12 gauge pump action. The Progressive Comfort system isn't doing it for me. I've already tried using a Sorbothane pad in my shooting vest, but it's hardly helping. waterfowlhunter Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Is the gun fitting you correctly? I know my Ethos has very little recoil even with Heavy trap loads. I fired 200 rounds of AA 1-1/8 oz 1200fps loads thru it and it was much less felt recoil than my 725 with the same loads. It is definitely softer shooting than my SBE II with target loads to me anyway. Quote
