Need advice from M2 Tactical gurus

Hi Everyone -

I'm new to the site and have a coupla questions about my M2 LE Tactical:

I'm looking for a high quality, light-weight weapon light and mount, clicky cap type which I can actuate with my support thumb or knuckle. The AVA with the QD feature is very nice, but will it fit my 18.5" M2 with the factory 7 round mag extension?

 

I'm also looking for a top rail for a future red dot sight. I see that GG&G's rail is highly rated...is there a better choice?
