Adding shell carrier to Super nova?

Hi all, I have a super nova, non-tactical model, that does not have the screw threads in the top of the receiver.

 

Is the Tacstar 4 shell shell holder the only model that will fit? I think all of the Mesa Tactical models need the screw holes.

I really like Vang Comp''s velco carrier. You'd just need to buy some self adhesive velcro loop (I think it's loop) and adhere that to the side of your receiver. Just but the "spare" or "extra" carriers from vang comp, or brownells. It's a nice light system!
