Trade 26” Ethos barrel for 28”

With all due respect, why do you want a 28" barrel vs a 26" barrel"?  I used to think I needed a longer barrel until I went to a 26". IMHO the 26" is quicker to swing and a lot easier to carry than the 28" and 30" barrels.  Great choice on the Ethos shotgun, I really like mine!!!

I’m a looking to trade a 20ga 28” Ethos barrel for a 26” barrel OR to purchase a 26” barrel.

I once swapped a 26” barrel for a 28” on my Ethos 12 and noticed a steadier swing on crossing birds without feeling front-heavy. If you end up keeping the 26”, experiment with lighter chokes to balance the sight picture. Also, for clays practice, a friend recommended Crazy Cattle 3D as a fun way to work on tracking—surprisingly helpful. Good luck with the trade, and kudos for keeping the barrel in great shape.
