Lex Posted December 31, 2019 Posted December 31, 2019 I just bought a new Montefeltro. It only had three choke tubes. Can anyone verify if it should have come with more than three? The other Benelli I have came with 4. Thanks Quote
Barrel Posted December 31, 2019 Posted December 31, 2019 Is there one in the barrel and two extra? Quote
Shootmore Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 Mine also came with three chokes. I think they used to come in a hard case with five chokes. Quote
remarkable Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 Most Montefeltro's come with three choke tubes. Some synthetic black guns came with one as part of a "buy down" sales gun. Quote
USMC249 Posted July 7, 2020 Posted July 7, 2020 Remarkable, can you provide additional information about the “buy down” models. Is it just a lack of accessories? Mine was purchased at a big box sports store as a gift for me. Just lien to gather information since I’ve never heard of “buy down”. TIA Quote
remarkable Posted July 8, 2020 Posted July 8, 2020 Retailers will get a price break on special model offerings. These often include guns with one choke tube. This is one method a retailer can get a lower cost which lowers the retail and still fall withing Benelli MAP pricing. Serial numbers are recorded on models that were sold with one choke tube. Please PM me if you would like additional details. Quote
