INGSOC
For some reason I cannot seem to lower the reticle on my M4. There is a rail mounted near the gun site. Am I missing a move here?
NineInchNails
If the Eotech optic is mounted as low as it can be ... there's nothing else you can do to make the optic lower. The elevation and windage adjustments are for zeroing in the Eotech, not to lower the reticle.
D'zaster
Lower 1/3rd co-witness is likely far as you'll get with EOTech on the stock rail. I my experience trying different dot sights on my AR, lower 1/3 offers quicker target acquisiton. If you want true co-witness, you'll need a lower mount. The scalarworks mount with RMR, is pretty dang slick.
