It looks absolutely badass. Can it shoot slugs though?

*edit- it cannot shoot slugs. Like it but I'll pass.

Yes, it can shoot slugs.

No, it can’t.
Carlsons makes a different model that is a cylinder choke and that can shoot slugs. The one you posted is an Extra Full. Put a slug though that then get back to us with the results.

The one I bought is the cylinder (84130) and will/does shoot slugs.

The link that I originally posted was the wrong model.  I went back and found/purchased the correct one.  Just to make sure I pulled the choke out and verified on the side of the cylinder where there is laser engraving that the type was "CYL".

So, I know this is way late, but I finally got out and shot several slugs through this. It worked amazing. Recoil was reduced by quite a bit. I really liked it. Again, sorry for the late reply... Life happens.

I have one in CYL as well and I agree, it does help with muzzle climb, I would not advise grabbing the end of my barrel either, it's wicked sharp. I put a couple loops of gray teflon plumbers tape on the threads over choke grease, it isn't coming off unless I want it off.
