Anyone using the Mesa Truckee Forend?

Just noticed this here...anyone have any experience with it?  I think it looks really clean and the attachment fittings look like it probably installs very nicely.  And only $100?

I didn’t like the position of the Mlok segments. They put them right where you’re going to be holding the rail. So if you mount a light, it’s going to interfere with your grip.
 

The Briley rail seems better executed, but it’s also twice the price.
