For the uses you specify (or anything else, for that matter), zero difference between the two in terms of performance.  Comes down to personal preference on how they feel, balance, swing, etc.

I have a Montefeltro I bought a couple years ago I only have about 50 rounds through it it’s a left-handed model 12 gauge and willing to let it go for $900 American.

26 inch to shoot pheasant or upland birds or even for ducks it’s really up to you.
