Cannot remove M3 trigger group

Recently bought an M3 and installed Taran Tactical shell lifter. I put the gun back together and was more difficult to load shells into magazine tube. Tried to disassemble to find problem and trigger group will not come out. Any tips on how to get the trigger group dislodged for the receiver?

Push on the bolt release button on the right side of the receiver and hold it down while taking it apart.
